Description
Emerald and her community live off-grid — rejecting a Government that has failed the people, trying to be the change necessary to save the planet. They also take Ayahuasca in special ceremonies, which binds them together in their search for a better way. All that is missing is her daughter, Esme.
Their life is thrown upside down when The Lost Revenue Service comes looking for much needed tax dollars. But who sent them? Will it bring Esme home? And can Darcy, a fast-talking city lawyer, rescue them or will his efforts end up destroying everything they hold dear.
The Storyteller was written as a utopian vision of the world and as a counter to the dystopian novel, The Information Editor. The stories are written as opposites — two halves of the same whole, with hope and despair in equal measures. They are about our collective journey. But also, the importance of
every individual life within that journey.
